Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by Patrik Airosto-Gelin to explain what data PARANOID collects and how it is used when you play Paranoid online. Contact: hej@tikkala.se.

What we collect

  • Email address — provided at checkout so we can link your purchase to an access token.
  • Purchase record — Stripe session ID, timestamp, and a random access token stored in our database.
  • Playback metadata — number of plays and last-played timestamp for your access token, used to detect abuse.

We do not collect card details. All payments are handled by Stripe.

How we use it

Solely to deliver the Game to you, honor your purchase, prevent sharing/fraud, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising trackers.

Third-party processors

  • Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Lovable Cloud — hosting and database for purchase records.
  • Google Analytics — loaded only if you accept optional cookies. Used to measure aggregate, anonymous traffic (pages viewed, referrer, approximate location). IP anonymization is enabled. See Google's privacy policy.
  • YouTube — the review video embed loads content from YouTube, which may set its own cookies. Loaded only if you accept optional cookies.

Retention

Purchase records are kept as long as needed to honor your access to the Game and to meet legal/accounting obligations.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing hej@tikkala.se. Note that deleting your purchase record will also remove your ability to play the Game.

Cookies

We show a consent banner on your first visit. You can accept or decline optional cookies at any time by clearing this site's storage in your browser — the banner will reappear on your next visit.

  • Required — Stripe Checkout cookies for secure payment. Always active; the site cannot function without them.
  • Optional (analytics) — Google Analytics (gtag.js, cookies _ga, _ga_*). Loaded only after you click "Accept all". Used for anonymous, aggregate traffic statistics with IP anonymization enabled.
  • Optional (embeds) — YouTube may set its own cookies when the review video embed is loaded. Loaded only after you accept optional cookies.

If you decline optional cookies, no Google Analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookies are set.

We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes.
